Low Nip Temperature

Nipping temperature is the temperature that the heated nip roll is set at in a laminating application to allow adequate softening/wetting of the adhesive to the secondary substrate it is being laminated to. Adhesives that have lower nipping temperatures often allow for faster run speeds as well as use on heat sensitive films.
