ROBOND™ L-2152
ROBOND™ L-2152 is one of two parts constituting the ROBOND™ L-2152/Coreactant CR 9-101 laminating adhesive system. This adhesive is an acrylic waterborne system that uses Coreactant CR 9-101 to provide cross-linking and achieve maximum adhesion and performance. The ROBOND™ L-2152/Coreactant CR 9-101 adhesive system performs well with substrates such as cellophane, treated polyolefins, polyester, vinyl, aluminum foil, metallized and PVDC-coated materials, coextruded heat-sealable layers, paper, and more. This laminating adhesive provides exceptional bond strength, optical clarity, and high heat and chemical resistance in several applications.
Typically, ROBOND™ L-2152/Coreactant CR 9-101 laminating adhesive is used in flexible packaging applications and industrial laminations using materials like polyester film and scrim or polyester film and foil. The appropriate dry coating weight for ROBOND™ L-2152/Coreactant CR 9-101 adhesive ranges between 2.4 and 5.7 g/m2 (1.5–3.4 lbs/ream), depending on the substrate, application, and coating method.
