ADCOTE™ 37T77-X

ADCOTE™ 37T77-X is a water-based heat seal coating that exhibits exceptional resistance to water and humidity exposure. It is typically used to create flexible lidding for food packaging, such as condiment cups, meat and cheese trays, and vegetable trays. ADCOTE™ 37T77-X may also be pattern applied as an adhesive and used to seal paper together to create paper pouches. This heat seal coating forms a nontacky film when applied to paper, polyolefin films, primed aluminum foil, and primed polyester films. Upon heating to an activation temperature of at least 82°C, it is used as an adhesive to form strong, peelable bonds to HIPS, aluminum foil, paper, treated polyester, polypropylene, and polyethylene.
