ADCOTE™ 40-3E

Adcote™ 40-3E is an opaque, peelable, modified polyester heat seal coating, primarily used in retortable lidding applications where the coating is applied to the treated or untreated polyester film side of an aluminum foil/polyester film laminate. Adcote™ 40-3E can also be applied on plain "A" wettable aluminum foil. Adcote™ 40-3E forms peelable seals to formed CPET, APET, PVC, PVDC-coated side of HIPS, and ETP steel containers. A unique feature of Adcote™ 40-3E is that it will maintain peelability even after being exposed to microwave and convection oven cooking cycles. This product exhibits good grease resistance to oils and other components found in most food products. This product produces a translucent film.
